Very good food. Not very familiar with Vietnam food. David made it easy to understand. Visit the place and give it a try. He is very accommodating!

if you've never tried Pho or think you've already found the best place, you're in for a very pleasant surprise. Very good food, great atmosphere and David will treat you like Family. Will most definitely be back here again.

Christina K.  I am Vietnamese and this is the best Vietnamese food in the area! The menu has dishes from all over Vietnam and everything is made well with no MSG. Also, the owner and family are friendly and welcoming! We can't wait to try more dishes soon.

Scott M. The pho is really flavorful. My wife doesn't usually eat pho when we go for Vietnamese,  but she gets it here.
The staff is very friendly and two large pho with 2 drinks is just a bit over $20.

Lisa H.  The pho is excellent - full of flavor. The fresh spring rolls to die for (peanut sauce heaven). The fried egg rolls... best around. I can keep going. I tried my first Bánh mì sandwich here recently and loved it! A friend recommended the Bún bò Hu e and I prefer that to pho now. Try it! So good!

Uyen T.  So glad we found this place. Very clean and beautiful restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing. They have very reasonable prices compared to other places. Finally, our waiter is very friendly and kind. Definitely be back

Veronica N.  I'm so glad our area is getting more ethnic food restaurants! I love Vietnamese cuisine and enjoy trying all the new places around Harrisburg. This place is clean, has inviting decor, and friendly service. The menu is impressive and has some items I haven't seen on other local menus--such as Bánh Xèo. This dish takes time to prepare, so as soon as I ordered it, the waiter went back to the kitchen and told the chef. It's a rice flour crepe filled with pork, shrimp, chicken, bean sprouts, and chives. It's served with fish sauce, lettuce, cilantro, Thai basil, and cucumber wedges. So worth the wait for this dish! We ordered the summer spring rolls with pork and they were perfect. My husband got seafood pho and the broth was rich and had deep flavor like all good pho broth should. The add-ins were all fresh. The seafood was good, but they do use imitation crab. Luckily there were enough shrimp and fish balls to make up for that. We split a grilled pork bahn mi, which was very tasty. The crispy bread was filled with a generous amount of pork and the veggies added a nice texture.  The Thai bubble tea was superb! Next time I will try the other bubble teas. Our waiter was very good with keeping our waters full and bringing out our items as they were ready. Very good experience here and will definitely be back!

Food quality is fantastic, especially for central PA, and portion sizes appropriate. Owners are extremely nice to customers and may remember you if you dine frequently. I've tried many dishes from the menu, all excellent. Food comes from kitchen in prompt times. I've also compared this restaurant with 2 other Vietnamese restaurants in the greater Harrisburg area, and I find it to be superior. Restaurant is spacious and clean. Bathrooms are clean. Parking is a bit confusing even though there's plenty of it, as is finding the restaurant. It's entrance is in the upper level open air cross-space across from or behind Arooga's depending on how you're looking at the building. Restaurant location is the only drawback, it's just a quirky spot. Nice to be away from the main parts of jonestown road traffic.

Love this guy. Also fantastic roast pork bun.
(The roast pork strips are like what beef jerky would have been like while it was alive, before it was dried out and killed.)
Also great iced Vietnamese coffee. Did I mention a 10% military discount? Also nothing not to like here.

The service here was excellent! The man who helped us was very friendly. We ordered takeout but there was a nice atmosphere. The pho was delicious, I'd recommend meatball. And the shrimp appetizer we got was great as well. It was pho-nommenal! Thank you :)

Had a hankering for Pho', and Pho#1 is my favorite in Harrisburg. It had been probably 6 months since my last visit but the proprietor remembered me. He has added a food delivering robot and of course everyone was commenting.
Large portions, friendly service. And really good food.
Vegetarian options: Vegetarian Pho, rice dishes
Kid-friendliness: Plenty of room for kids, outdoor seating
Parking: Adequate parking in front, back and side of complex
Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps to restaurant.

Very good option for those looking for something besides the typical burgers, pizza, and Italian options. Our large group ordered a wide variety of dishes and they all liked them. The pho is very good, the vermicelli bowls with beef were good too. Fried rice, wontons, crispy rolls, and salads were delicious too. The wait was a bit long and their online ordering could be a bit better but that doesn't take away from the tasty food they make.
Parking: Lots of free parking available at the shopping center.
