Special Homemade Egg Rolls
If you have never tasted a Vietnamese egg roll (Chả Giò), then you are in for a treat! The wrapper is thin, light, and crispy like samosas. The filling is usually comprised of pork and shrimp with noodles and mushrooms. The savory rolls are then served with sweet, salty, and tangy dipping sauce.
Sizzling Beef Steak-BO NE
This is Vietnam's version of steak and eggs, a simple, yet luxurious breakfast dish. "Bo Ne" means ducking beef, as in ducking the splatter of butter and oil while the beef is being served on a sizzling, hot pan. The pate is smothered on top of the steak, so spread the pate goodness around, dip the beef in its sauce, and then dip the runny egg yolk with the warm crusty soft French bread to start the day right!
